I am an entrepreneur with broad corporate experience (Warner Music, Time Inc., AOL, HuffPost, Fusion) who's acted at the forefront of digital <--> cultural intersections for two decades; developing and executing breakthrough strategies across web, social, television, print and music in the U.S. and Latin America.

I believe in action over words, in hard data as well as hard-earned experience. I thrive in collaborative environments where connecting with people and communities underlies the primary business objective.

And I have learned that the best ideas and greatest opportunities demand sharp perspectives, tireless effort and an open mind. Wishful thinking and buzzy lingo won’t make the grade.

As a key lead player for top media companies such as Meredith Co., Spectrum and HuffPost, among others, I've guided editorial teams on the successful implementation of effective strategies to ensure a unique brand voice, quality content production and customized and out-of-the-box editorial solutions.

I’ve specialized in building and launching new digital platforms, revamping old editorial offerings into new refreshing and exciting ones, and helping traditional media transition into the digital world.

ROMINA RUIZ-GOIRIENA / STORYTELLING INNOVATION

I am an internationally experienced journalist (CNN, AP, France24, El Mundo, Haaretz) and digital media entrepreneur who has worked in Guatemala, Paris, Cuba, and Israel. For coverage of Hurricane Irma's impact in Florida's migrant community, I am a finalist for a Deadline Club Award by the NYC Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.

In 2016, I co-founded Prowell Media, a digital news media company that produces content for 14 million people across Mexico and the U.S --including its pilot site Barrio.
